Terms of use
The rules for using this website, the waitlist and the free tools. The WhoOwnsWhat.xyz app will get its own terms before it launches.
1. Who we are
This website is run by WhoOwnsWhat.xyz, an independent project based in Poland. It is not a registered company yet. Contact: hi@whoownswhat.xyz.
2. What these terms cover
These terms cover the WhoOwnsWhat.xyz website, the waitlist, and the free tools on it: the project ledger Google Sheet, the founder agreement template, the cost split calculator, the handover checklist and the hackathon kit. By using them, you agree to these terms.
3. The product is not live yet
WhoOwnsWhat.xyz is in development. Features, prices and plans shown on this site describe what we're building and may change. Joining the waitlist doesn't create a contract to buy anything, and we don't charge you during early access.
4. Free tools
- The free tools are provided as they are, for your own use. Check the numbers before you rely on them.
- The founder agreement template is general information, not legal advice. Talk to a lawyer before you rely on it for anything important.
- You can copy and adapt the Google Sheet and templates for your own projects. Please don't resell them as your own product.
5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no attempts to break or overload it, no automated spam signups, and no using it to break the law.
6. Intellectual property
The WhoOwnsWhat.xyz name, logo, site design and text belong to us, except for content we've marked as yours to copy.
7. Liability
We work hard to keep the site and tools accurate, but we can't promise they're error-free or always available. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses from using the site or free tools. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
8. Links to other sites
We link to services like Google Sheets and X. Their own terms and privacy policies apply there.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new date.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. If you use the site as a consumer, you also keep any protection the law of the country where you live gives you.
