How the math works
Add up everything both of you paid. Multiply the total by Person A's share to get what A should have paid. If A paid more than that, B owes A the difference. If A paid less, A owes B.
Example: the total is 52.00, split 50/50, so each should pay 26.00. Matt paid 32.00 and Partner paid 20.00, so Partner owes Matt 6.00.
